Hellenic Tzilalis (Cyprus) Ltd has entered into a joint agreement with the companies Hellenic Technical Enterprises Ltd and Egis Projects S.A., to design, construct, deliver, install, operate and maintain Solar Photovoltaic Parks at the Larnaca and Paphos International Airports.

Hellenic Technical Enterprises Ltd will be responsible for the Solar Panels’ maintenance,  and Hellenic Tzilalis (Cyprus) Ltd will be the provider of cleaning services.

The two Solar Plants, located at Larnaca and Paphos International Airports, will provide a  total of 4.6MWp, covering 25% and 30% of the total energy consumption of the two airports respectively. This energy conservation, through the use of  alternative sources of energy, will have a direct positive impact on the environment.
